MEET BEVAN.
I was born and raised in the South West, and I’ve spent my life living and working in regional Western Australia. I’m proud to call Warren–Blackwood home — a region rich in natural beauty, industry, and community spirit.
I’m a third-generation farmer, and the values I learnt on the land still guide me today: hard work, honesty, and showing up when it counts. My wife and I have raised our two kids here, and like every local parent, I wanted them to have access to quality schools, reliable healthcare, and good opportunities — without having to leave the region to find them.
Before entering Parliament, I built a career in regional development and advocacy, working alongside small businesses, farmers, health providers, and local councils to deliver real outcomes. That experience taught me something simple but powerful: politics should be about people, not party lines. I bring a straight-talking, common-sense approach to Parliament. I don’t chase headlines — I focus on getting things done.
I believe in:
Better access to health, aged care, and mental health services, no matter your postcode
A strong, sustainable future for forestry and farming, built on innovation and respect for the environment
Backing small businesses and local jobs, because thriving communities need local opportunity
Caring for our environment — ensuring our forests, waterways, and wildlife are protected for future generations
One of my top priorities is helping our region respond to the real-world impacts of climate change. This isn’t about slogans or scare campaigns — it’s about the lived experience of local farmers, firies, business owners, and families who are already seeing the changes on the ground. I’m committed to practical, place-based solutions — from improving water security and fire preparedness to supporting regenerative agriculture and sustainable tourism.
Above all, I believe in listening. My job is to be your voice in Parliament — not the other way around. Whether it’s at your farm gate, your main street, the school gate or your kitchen table, I’ll keep showing up and standing up for the people of Warren–Blackwood.
