BOYUP BROOK.
Tucked among rolling farmland and forests, Boyup Brook is a proud rural community built on resilience, resourcefulness, and strong country values. It’s a place where generations have worked the land, where people look out for one another, and where local events like the Country Music Festival show just how connected and creative this town truly is.
Bevan is standing alongside the community to tackle the practical challenges that are holding Boyup Brook back — from progressing Stage 1 and 2 of the long-awaited Recreation Facility, to addressing the heavy truck traffic that rumbles through the heart of town, and finding real solutions to the growing housing shortage caused by a lack of available land. These aren’t just infrastructure issues — they’re barriers to growth, safety, and liveability. Bevan knows that when towns like Boyup Brook thrive, the whole region moves forward — and he's committed to getting the job done.

INFRASTRUCTURE ISSUES.
Is local infrastructure keeping up with the needs of our region? Many in our community say it isn’t — and they’re right to be concerned. From crumbling roads and missing footpaths to drainage issues, public transport gaps, and growing pressure on community facilities, people are asking why vital infrastructure continues to be delayed or overlooked. Some of these responsibilities fall to the Shire, others to the State — but in the end, it’s local residents who feel the impact.
Bevan is working to raise these issues at every level of government — but he needs your help to build the case. Whether it's road safety, community amenities, public buildings, or transport access, your voice matters. What infrastructure issues are affecting you, your family, or your neighbourhood? Share your experience to help push for the funding and attention our region deserves.

BOYUP BROOK HOSPITAL.
Boyup Brook Health Service is a vital, locally based B-class facility — offering essential care across Accident & Emergency, Outpatients, Home & Community Care, Paediatrics, Nursing Home, Pathology, Radiology, and patient transport. With just 12 beds serving our rural community, and the nearest alternative hospital over 35 km away in Bridgetown, it’s clear people need prompt, reliable healthcare close to home.
But the strains are growing. From access to specialists and emergency coverage, to aged-care capacity, diagnostic services, and transport logistics — many in the region wonder whether our hospital has enough support to meet current and future needs.
Bevan is raising these concerns in Parliament — and he wants to hear from you. Whether you’re a patient, carer, staff member, or community advocate, your experience matters. What’s working well at the hospital? Where is the pressure being felt most? What improvements would truly make a difference—be it on staffing, facilities, services, or emergency access? Share your thoughts below to help build a case for fairer investment and better healthcare in Boyup Brook.

NETWORK CONNECTIVITY & MOBILE COVERAGE.
Reliable internet and mobile coverage are no longer luxuries — they’re essential for work, study, business, safety, and staying connected with loved ones. But across our region, too many households and businesses still face patchy reception, slow speeds, and regular dropouts. For some, a phone call in an emergency isn’t guaranteed to get through. For others, running a business or working from home is made unnecessarily difficult.
These problems affect our economy, our education, and even our safety — and they require urgent attention from both State and Federal decision-makers, as well as the major telcos. Bevan is raising these issues in Parliament, but he needs your help to map the true extent of the problem. Whether you live in town, on a farm, or somewhere in between, your experience matters. Where are the black spots? What happens when your service drops out? And what solutions would make a difference? Share your story to help build the case for better connectivity across the South West.
