Most marginal regional seat falls to Nats

In Warren-Blackwood, the state's most-marginal regional seat, Bevan Eatts has ousted incumbent Labor MP Jane Kelsbie.

The swing against Ms Kelsbie was only 5 per cent, with the Nationals and Liberals boosting their votes.

Mr Eatts said the dual wins were a huge boost for the Nationals.

"I put it down to the fact that it is a grassroots community … we've got the track record of listening and looking after regional WA," he said.

"People often asked me what I could promise if I was elected, and I always said if you had an issue, you could get in touch with me and you'd have strong representation with good communication."
