Bushranger Cadets
Bush Rangers WA is an outdoor education and youth development program for secondary students who want to learn more about nature, conservation, and making a difference in their local environment.
Run through schools and supported by the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA), Bush Rangers gives you the chance to get hands-on — whether it’s tree planting, wildlife surveys, beach cleanups, or learning about bushfire management and cultural heritage.
It’s a great way to build leadership skills, earn community service hours, and be part of something meaningful — all while spending time outdoors and getting to know your local environment.
Visit dbca.wa.gov.au to find out how to join a unit at your school or start one in your community.
