What this shows
Over the ten months of questions below, the number of older people held in a hospital bed with nowhere to move to rose from about 200 to over 360, and stayed there. The wait falls hardest on the regions, about 50 days against 11.4 in Perth, yet the state does not count how many of those waiting are regional. Across the same period the Government's own estimate of the aged-care beds the state is short only grew.
